We do it for the People in need

Combat Homelessness

Homelessness is a pervasive societal problem that affects individuals and communites worldwide. By seeking to provide decent and affordable housing, together we can stabilize and elevate communities for the benefit of everyone.

Support Recovery

Drug & Alcohol Addictions destroy lives and rob individuals of the opportunity to be of benefit to their families and communities. By providing support to those in recovery, we help them to restore their dignity and create a better life.

Refer Resources

Through our strategic partnerships with area Churches and Nonprofit Organizations like the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church, the Salvation Army and many others we are able to provide assistance far beyond what our limited resources would allow.

Promote Community

One thing we have discovered is that offering people opportunities to work together to accomplish a goal, like with our Community Garden, goes a long way in building community support, encouraging collaboration and instilling collective pride.

Our First Major Project

The acquisition and renovation of the Siesta Motel which we christened The Wellington Oasis, provides emergency and transitional shelter to elderly, veterans and homeless families in a safe, supportive environment without judgement or prejudice. We are currently seeking support to raise money to replace our roof. Your generous tax-deductible donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

3 Ways You Can Help ...

Cash Contributions

Cash Contributions are the lifeblood of any nonprofit organization. We seek to always exercise a high degree of fiscal responsibility in applying every penny for maximum impact. By donating today you can help us to reach more people in need.

Property Donations

By donating unwanted, vacant or abandoned properties and excess building materials, you can help in our mission to provide affordable housing for those in need while receiving a tax deduction for the fair market value of the property or materials donated.

Volunteer Opportunities

We welcome Volunteers of every skill level to assist in our mission to create decent and affordable housing and inspire young people to "get involved" in bulding their communities while exposing them to opportunities in the building trades.

Our Work ...

After I lost my husband to a tragic accident, I did not know what I was going to do. I was fortunate enough to connect with House Rescue Incorporated, where I found affordable housing with a family atmosphere. I am so grateful for their care and support.

When I was released from jail I really needed somewhere to go until I could figure things out. A friend referred me to House Rescue Incorporated. They were able to hook me up with temporary housing through agencies they worked with and help me with transportation to court. I found a decent job, got my cases cleared and was able to secure permanent housing all because they gave me a chance!

At a difficult time in my life House Rescue Incorporated took me in and helped me find a better path to follow. I've received help with food and clothing all while learning skills I can use later in life.

My financee and I were left stranded in Wellington Kansas due to unforseen circumstances. Thankfully we were given temporary shelter by House Rescue Inc through their partnership with the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church. We were also connected with resources for food and transportation to get back to Knoxville, TN.
